Project Overview

To create an instructional resource on the Systems Iceberg tool that could stand alone, be embedded in courses or workshops, or be shared by teachers with their students to help them apply the tool in their communities to make systems change.

The Goal

The Learning Experience

A seven-minute animated video explaining the Systems Iceberg with an example published on YouTube and embedded in Compass Education courses and communication. This video was hand-drawn and animated in Procreate and edited using iMovie. The script was written with feedback from members of the Compass Education team.

  • A sharable learning resource embedded in both Compass Education and partner organizations’ courses

  • Anecdotes from educators about the effectiveness of using the video to engage students.
