Play360's Playmaker's Playbook already existed. The general curriculum was written, videos had been filmed, and the vision was clear: train local leaders around the world to envision, design, plan, and build educational playgrounds in their communities. But the materials weren't yet accessible to the people who needed them. There was no online home for the course, no way to track learner progress, and no system that the Play360 team could manage themselves as they built their global community and movement.
Summary: Play360 had a curriculum, filmed videos, and a clear vision for training community leaders to build educational playgrounds worldwide. What they needed was a way to make it trackable, accessible, and deliverable to people anywhere in the world — and a team equipped to run it independently once it launched.
The Challenge
Learning Format: Online Certification Course, two parts
Project Overview
To transform Play360's existing curriculum into a structured, accessible online learning experience and to build the internal capacity for the Play360 team to own and run it independently.
The Goal
Through collaboration with Play360 team members focused on content, graphic design, and videography, we created two semi-facilitated certification courses. Courses provide learners with instructional videos, tools, downloadable resources, and a Play360 mentor to bring their Playmaker projects to fruition. These courses are hosted in LearnWorlds LMS.
The Learning Experience
150 + students have enrolled in the course (currently on its 12th cohort)
